Celebrating Completion of Coalfields Expressway

WHO: Gov. Jim Justice, West Virginia Department of Transportation Secretary Byrd White, West Virginia Department of Transportation Deputy Secretary Jimmy Wriston, other local officials.

WHAT: Gov. Justice, State Transportation leaders, and other officials will celebrate the completion of the Coalfields Expressway from Slab Fork to Mullens.

WHEN: Tomorrow; Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.

WHERE: Event will be held on the Coalfields Expressway near Mullens.

All media and guests must enter the Coalfields Expressway on the Mullens end and proceed to the event site, which is approximately one mile northbound. No vehicles will be permitted to enter the Coalfields Expressway at the Slab Fork end.
