Job duties include: General Administrative Assistant duties; Time sheets; sick and vacation log; bank reconciliations; payroll including proper deductions; invoicing; processing checks on a daily basis; tracking reimbursement; picking up mail; making deposits daily in person and/or electronically; receipting in all payments; updating loan status each month; completing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for appropriate funds and grants; preparing 940s, 941s, W-2s and W-3s; engaging the auditor yearly and assisting the auditor with all details of the audit; assisting with organizing and planning functions; assisting in loan packaging, loan questions, loan training, meetings with loan applicants, and loan closing transactions; preparing journal entries; taking care of PEIA insurance and PERS retirement for all employees; updating the website; assisting the web designer with the quarterly newsletter; internal controls; preparing minutes and all documents and related items for the EDA Board meetings; and assisting in any other matter that may be necessary by the employer.
Requirements include: High School Diploma with experience in accounting/bookkeeping or a degree in accounting or finance; ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to use QuickBooks and QuickBooks payroll; good communication skills; ability to complete tasks without much supervision and to adhere to deadlines and due dates as described in the job duty list.
