The Wyoming County Economic Development Authority (EDA) is thrilled to announce that we have received an exciting new award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (USEDA) for the expansion of the John D. Rockefeller Industrial Park! This substantial grant of $3,801,600 will play a pivotal role in supporting our efforts to grow and strengthen the local economy through new infrastructure development.
The USEDA funding will be used to construct a new 15,000-square-foot building within the John D. Rockefeller Industrial Park. This building expansion is a critical component of our ongoing mission to create more opportunities for businesses to thrive in Wyoming County. The new facility will not only enhance the park’s capacity but also provide much-needed space for local industries to grow and innovate.
As part of this expansion, we are proud to share that 25 existing jobs will be retained, while an additional 25 jobs will be created, contributing to the economic vitality of our county.
The expansion of the John D. Rockefeller Industrial Park represents a significant investment in Wyoming County’s future. With new infrastructure in place, the industrial park will be even better equipped to attract businesses that need modern, functional spaces to operate and expand their operations. This project will also help us meet the growing demand from companies looking to establish themselves in a business-friendly environment like Wyoming County.
The additional jobs created through this project will provide local residents with new employment opportunities, further strengthening our community and supporting economic growth across the region.
The $3.8 million award from the USEDA demonstrates the confidence that federal partners have in Wyoming County’s potential for growth and success. The USEDA’s investment underscores the importance of the John D. Rockefeller Industrial Park as a regional economic hub and validates the hard work of the Wyoming County EDA in securing this critical funding.
This grant is more than just a financial boost—it is a vote of confidence in our vision for the future of Wyoming County. The USEDA’s support will help us bring new opportunities to the area, laying the foundation for sustained economic progress.
As construction on the 15,000-square-foot building begins, we are excited about the positive impact this project will have on the community. We remain dedicated to ensuring that the John D. Rockefeller Industrial Park remains a top destination for businesses looking to invest and expand in Wyoming County.
The Wyoming County EDA extends our gratitude to the USEDA for their continued support, and we look forward to seeing the fruits of this significant investment in our county’s future. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress on this exciting project!
