About our services

Cultivating Business Development At the Wyoming County EDA, we understand the significance of economic diversification, and we are always working on attracting new businesses and consumers to our region. Though much of our work is rooted in the present, we’re always thinking ahead. By supporting existing businesses and making their operations sustainable, the Wyoming County EDA helps facilitate growth. As evidenced by the major business institutions investing in Wyoming County — such as Omnis Sublimation Recovery Technologies (OSRT) and AmeriCarbon — our region has much to offer, and we are proud of our region’s continued development.

Lending Funds Whether you’re an established business owner or an entrepreneur with a startup vision, business development takes time and money. But that can often be a challenge for small businesses. Through our Loan Program, the Wyoming County EDA offers a variety of loans for small businesses in West Virginia. From EDA Small Business Loans, Revolving Loans, Micro Loans, and IRP Loans, qualified applicants can be approved for funds ranging from $1,000-$150,000 for qualified applicants. We also collaborate with other financial institutions to ensure that businesses receive the maximum amount of support and business capital. Business Coaching and Site Selections The Wyoming County EDA’s business coaching program is staffed by a team of professionals with decades of economic development experience. Business coaching services are available to current and prospective business clients, offering strategic planning, goal-setting, technical support, and referrals. Additionally, we host a comprehensive database of Resources and Programs, connecting businesses in the Mountain State with assistance and funding opportunities that can help their business endeavors flourish.

Advocacy Local economic development authorities like the Wyoming County EDA are allies and advocates for their community, our workforce, and our businesses. We serve an important role in business development across West Virginia, as we also provide loans to applicants who may have been denied by other financial institutions in the past.
