Wyoming County Community Fund Seeks Support for 17th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser

The Wyoming County Community Fund is preparing for our 17th Annual Community Fund Scholarship Fundraiser, and we are once again reaching out to local businesses and community partners for support.

Each spring, the Wyoming County Community Fund awards scholarships to Wyoming County students, both traditional and non-traditional, who plan to attend a West Virginia higher education institution or the Wyoming County Career & Technical Center. These scholarships help provide local students with an opportunity to further their education and build a future here in West Virginia.

This year, we are asking businesses to make a direct cash contribution to our scholarship fundraiser. Every dollar donated will go directly toward the scholarship fund and will be used to increase the amount of the scholarship(s) awarded to Wyoming County students.

Our goal is to raise enough additional funding to make these scholarships as meaningful and impactful as possible. A contribution of any amount can make a difference, and when local businesses come together to support our students, the impact is multiplied.

We are grateful for the continued generosity of businesses throughout Wyoming County and appreciate those who recognize the importance of investing in the education and future of our young people.

Any donation, large or small, is sincerely appreciated. Your support will directly benefit a Wyoming County student pursuing higher education or career training.
