The Town of Pineville will be having a Chili tasting contest, costume contest, best decorated booth contest, pumpkin carving and painting contest, candy corn guessing contest, and lamppost decorating contest, as well as a cake walk during the 17th Annual Pineville Autumn Festival on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. on Main Street in Pineville, WV. There will be several classifications of winners in each contest. All contest winners will be announced at approximately 9:00 P.M. on the stage, and at that time all decorated pumpkins must be removed. Contestants do not have to be present to win. The Danley Band will be providing music throughout the evening. Public restrooms will be located in the Wyoming County Convention and Visitors Bureau (old Library building) next to Castle Rock.
Main Street will be closed from 1:00 P.M. until 12 midnight. Additionally, this event is SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION if severe inclement weather arises.

You must bring your decorated or carved pumpkins to the Pineville Autumn Fest between 4:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, October 21, and register them at the Pumpkin Booth located near Family Healthcare. Furthermore, you may register in the costume contest from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in front of the Court House.
